Sabre Explore enhancement gives users easy access to the seat of their choice

Tuesday, 1 May 2012

Sabre Pacific, a technology company serving travel suppliers and agencies in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific, is now offering Sabre Explore users the ability to request a specific seat via a new graphical interface in the leisure online booking engine.

GM Product and Sales Sabre Pacific, Carl Frier says the increasing amount of customers opting to take control over their seating arrangements has made this update extremely valuable to agencies.

"The new enhancements to Sabre Explore allow users to select their airline seat in advance when placing their booking. The new features include an all new graphical view, which permits users to select their seat in just three clicks of the mouse," says Frier.

Details of the booking arrangements and seating details are featured on an automated confirmation email.

The seat request is then sent to the airline immediately, to be fully confirmed when the passenger checks-in with the airline prior to the flight.
