All Fares and ancillary services available to travel agents

Sabre, a global technology company serving travel agencies and suppliers, has extended an agreement with easyJet to distribute its fares and services to travel agencies.

The agreement has been expanded to provide further distribution to Sabre-connected travel agencies with access to easyJet fares through the global distribution system (GDS).

Agents will soon be able to take advantage of easyJet’s allocated seating trial, which is currently running on selected routes across the network.  This allows passengers to reserve their preferred seat on the aircraft at the time of booking.

Sabre Pacific GM Sales and Product Carl Frier said: “we’re committed to providing our customers with the best breadth of content available and are pleased to be able to add easyJet to the mix.”

“This deal is also a major step forward for Sabre and easyJet as more agencies connected to Sabre will have access to inventory for the first time.”

“Through continued investment in technology and service Sabre is committed to working with easyJet to grow their business.”

Andrew Hodges, easyJet’s director of sales, distribution & business, said: “We are very excited to renew our agreement with Sabre, which will help fulfill our ambition to grow our share of the managed corporate travel sector. easyJet continues to make travel easy and affordable for travellers and we see great efficiencies for TMCs in booking our great value flexible fares via GDS.“

easyJet joins a growing list of more than 400 airlines that have chosen the Sabre GDS to sell to travel agencies.
