Flight Details: Check in and Luggage Allowance: The standard 20kg of luggage allowance applied. We had a smooth check-in at the counter very quickly found ourselves having coffee and a snack before boarding time. Meal & Snack Service For the first meal, we had a choice of chicken in red curry with rice and steamed vegetables or roast pork fillet with potatoes and mixed vegetables. I opted for the curry which was quite tasty – the rice was fluffy and the curry was mild. Entertainment: Entertainment in the movies options included a range of the latest and current movies. Current movies included The Descendents, Breaking Dawn Part 1, My Week with Marilyn, Immortals, Carnage, New Year’s Eve, The Darkest Hour, We Bought a Zoo, The Iron Lady. The latest hits included Young Adult, Chronicle, Joyful noise, One for the money, Big Miracle, Haywire, The Vow and Contraband. Of course there were also The Classics, International movies, Thai movies and Award Winners such as The Bodyguard, Dangerous Liaisons and The Incredibles On time performance: Despite the wet and rainy weather, the flight departed Sydney right on time at 15.55 and arrived 10 minutes early into Bangkok.
