The agreement provides Expedia with a broad range of technology services, including its leading online fare search technology and access to global travel supplier content to enrich Expedia, Inc.’s extensive supply portfolio. The two organizations established their partnership in 2005 in North America, and have since expanded the partnership to include points of sale in Asia Pacific and Latin America. Today Expedia, Inc. offers airfare search and reservation capabilities to travelers in more than 25 countries through its portfolio of international travel brands that provide full-service and corporate travel offerings, including Expedia®, Egencia®, and Hotwire®. Sabre’s online search and booking technology coupled with Expedia’s proprietary Best Fare Search shopping technology ensures travelers receive timely, accurate search results for a simple and more streamlined travel booking process.
