Sabre Agency Manager update simplifies group management

Wednesday, 27 June 2012

Sabre Pacific, a leading technology company serving travel suppliers and agencies, has introduced a range of enhancements to its mid-office Sabre Agency Manager product.

Sabre Agency Manager is a locally developed product, offering leisure and corporate agencies better connectivity between front and mid office systems to improve agent productivity and efficiency.

GM Product and Sales Sabre Pacific, Carl Frier, says the latest updates ensure Sabre Agency Manager customers are able to provide the highest level of service by increasing automation and control.

“Agents will now be able to consolidate and manage group bookings within a master group profile, which will allow better tracking and more effective management of large bookings,” says Frier.

"Additionally, our newly released 'copy' functionality means Sabre-connected agents only have to insert information once when entering multiple transactions with similar content.  Agents can simply copy the costing and segment from one booking and paste it to a completely new booking, saving consultants several minutes on every transaction."

Sabre Agency Manager has also been enhanced to allow Airplus' popular business travel payment solutions to be used by a certified agent.

"Finally, Sabre Agency Manager now displays balance due amounts anddates on all its costing summaries. This new feature is hugely beneficial for customers and agents, as there can be no confusion over the final due date," says Frier.
