Submissions must be in before COB August 15

The deadline for this year’s Avis Travel Agent Scholarship is rapidly approaching, with consultants having just two weeks left in which to register and submit their application for the travel industry's most prestigious award program.

Now in its 16th year, the Avis Scholarship rewards excellence in customer service and is open to all Australian leisure and corporate travel consultants,

This year’s winner will receive a range of educational and travel-related prizes valued in excess of $40,000, including a Qantas business-class trip for two to New York and a first-year scholarship at Southern Cross University’s School of Tourism and Hospitality Management.

To take part in the 2012 Scholarship travel agents simply go to www.avisscholarship.com and answer a selection of questions on their individual approach to customer service.

All applications must be received before close of business on August 15.

To help consultants put their best foot forward, Avis is this year providing applicants with a guide explaining all aspects of the Scholarship, including sample questions, tips on how write the best submission and the judging process.
