Emirates offers Australian travellers a superior flying experience, with more connectivity than ever before, bringing the world closer to home. From 1st November, Emirates will launch four weekly flights to Adelaide, rising to a daily service from 1st February 2013. Adelaide will be the airline’s fifth destination in Australia which is currently served with 70 flights per week. Meanwhile, the airline’s current double-daily service to Perth will grow to 19 weekly flights from 1st December, becoming a triple daily operation from 1st March next year. Victorians will soon enjoy services onboard the state-of-the-art A380 – the only service operating to Auckland from Melbourne – with daily flights beginning in October this year. The French city of Lyon will be added to Emirates’ network from 5th December, the carrier’s third point in France, including Paris and Nice. Emirates will operate five weekly flights to the French city, and from 6th February 2013, Emirates will begin daily flights to Poland’s capital, Warsaw. A new Graphical User Interface (GUI) makes content and system features easier to navigate via a “swiping” or “scrolling” functionality. Passengers travelling onboard new Boeing 777 aircraft can now enjoy the ice system on some of the world’s largest personal TV screens with high definition (HD) resolution: 27-inch in First Class, 20-inch in Business Class and 12.1 inch in Economy Class. Emirates has rolled out WiFi internet connection on the entire A380 fleet and has an additional 90 aircraft equipped with the AeroMobile system, which allows mobile phone use inflight. |
