SkyPoint serves up top new menu

Monday, 27 August 2012

SkyPoint Observation Deck has served up a top new menu to welcome in the new season with dishes as memorable as the breathtaking 360 degree views of the Gold Coast.

Located on level 77 of the Q1 building, SkyPoint Observation Deck offers a relaxed beachside dining experience with an outlook unmatched by any other Gold Coast venue.

From the surf to the turf, SkyPoint has it all - an impressive, three tiered seafood basket, grilled gulf barramundi topped with blue swimmer crab, avocado and hollandaise sauce to a succulent 250 gram rib fillet or 300 gram sirloin steak cooked to your liking and served with your choice of sauce.

Salt and pepper squid, a gourmet beef burger and club sandwich are among the classic favourites but if you are looking to treat your tastebuds with exotic flavours then the Japanese inspired Katsu chicken burger or Greek style vegetarian wrap are for you.

Coming into the warmer months, lighter dishes including the Mediterranean tiger prawn salad, traditional Caesar salad or pumpkin, spinach and ricotta filo pastry are expected to be popular.

The signature High Tea and Share Platters, delicately served on a unique three tiered display plate inspired by the tall contemporary design of Q1 building are the ultimate way to dine at SkyPoint.

Perfect for special occasions or simply when catching up with a loved one, High Tea includes decadent mini bites and your choice of tea and coffee or sparkling wine.

Stay a little longer with a Share Platter and beverage from SkyPoint’s extensive beer and wine menu while watching the day transition into night and the glittering city lights below.

Enjoy unlimited entry to the venue, discounts on the menu and benefits for your friends and family all year round with a SkyPoint Annual Pass. Available for just $29, the SkyPoint Annual Pass is the best value ticket on the Gold Coast and guarantees an experience as impressive as the view every time.

SkyPoint’s menu is available from 11am - 8pm, Sunday to Thursday and the kitchens hours are extended to 10:30pm on Friday and Saturday nights making SkyPoint the perfect weekend venue for a late dinner, an after dinner treat or nightcap.
