Businesses booking corporate travel can expect to save in excess of 45 minutes per booking using Sabre Online, according to Director of Sales at Executive Edge and Executive Travel Management, Paul Nethercott. Nethercott says the Melbourne-based corporate and high-end leisure agencies chose to use Sabre Online two years ago because it was fast, convenient and integrated seamlessly with Sabre Red Workspace and Sabre Agency Manager. "Our customers love Sabre Online because it means substantial time savings and a lower booking fee. Bookings can be completed in minutes online, which can save them over 45 minutes compared to other booking methods. Our customers can then use that time to do their real job rather than booking travel," says Nethercott. Sabre Pacific GM sales and product Australia and New Zealand, Carl Frier, says corporate agencies and their clients are switching to Sabre Online as a much more efficient alternative to booking travel over the phone or via email. "Executive Edge and Executive Travel Management are great examples of agencies which are using Sabre Online to push their business to new levels of productivity. Since launching the solution, the agencies have introduced 13 clients to Sabre Online and are now facilitating over 90% of their domestic bookings through it, which is well above the industry average" says Frier. Nethercott attributes the uptake to Sabre Online's interface, which he says is by far the most user-friendly on the market. "Sabre Online's interface feels more professional and is much easier to use than competing solutions. All information is presented clearly and logically on one screen. Because of this, we've found that it's very easy to train customers to use the solution. Getting users up to speed takes roughly 40 minutes. Some people don’t require training at all. They can operate it themselves simply by following the prompts. It's just that easy," says Nethercott. |
