The Channel nine travel program, Postcards will film an episode featuring RACV Noosa Resort, Eumundi Markets, Spirit House and other Sunshine Coast attractions.

This promotional filming initiative is supported by Sunshine Coast Destination Ltd (SCDL).

CEO, Steve Cooper said, “We are excited to welcome the Postcards program and presenter, Rebecca Judd to the Sunshine Coast region.
“Postcards attracts from 350,000 up to 500,000 weekly viewers in one of our key markets, Victoria and this segment will be aired in early October providing terrific exposure just in time for the summer holidays.”

Spirit House Restaurant and Cooking School Owner, Helen Brierty believes this exposure is perfect for not only her business but has a tremendous flow-on-effect for the entire region from accommodation providers to transport and attractions.

“Our restaurant and cooking school is extremely popular with visitors from Melbourne and Victoria. Other local accommodation and transport businesses tell us that most of their bookings come from people travelling to Yandina and the Sunshine Coast for our cooking school.

“We appreciate the SCDL’s support in attracting and supporting promotional opportunities for the Spirit House and the wider region,” added Helen.  

Rebecca Judd is one of Australia’s busiest and best known personalities working as a television presenter and brand ambassador for some of the country’s biggest companies. She is also a speech pathologist, wife to AFL star, Chris Judd and new mum to baby Oscar. After becoming engaged and celebrating her honeymoon in Noosa, Rebecca says she is a regular visitor to the region and loves it.

Postcards is a half-hour program that airs on Sundays at 5.30pm on Channel Nine.

The Sunshine Coast episode will air on Sunday 7 October 2012.
