Skal International Sydney held its October meeting last Wednesday 10th October in the Zeta Bar at the Hilton, Sydney. Members and their guests gathered to network, as well as listen to a presentation by guest speaker, AFTA Chief Executive, Jayson Westbury.

Westbury gave an overview of the current Federal political landscape, as well as an update on the latest progress in relation to the Travel Industry Transition Plan Consultation Draft.

It was also a chance for several members of Skal International Sydney who had recently attended the Skal World Congress in Korea to share details from the event with other members.

The next meeting of Skal International Sydney will be held at The Grace Hotel, on Wednesday 14th November at 12 noon. The guest speaker will be TTF Chairman, The Hon. Bruce Baird AM, speaking on “Current and future directions for tourism, transport and infrastructure”.
