Qantas Pathfinders Charity Flight

Thursday, 18 October 2012

Have you always wanted to experience Lake House in picturesque Daylesford, but could never find the time?  This, and more, is possible, in the space of a day, and, at the same time, raise funds for deaf and blind children.

You can have it all, without having to take time off work or pack a suitcase, when you board the annual Qantas Pathfinders Charity Flight.

On the day enjoy a chartered flight from Sydney to Melbourne before being transported to beautiful Daylesford to visit The Convent Gallery and experience a three course lunch and fine wines at Lake House; where we will be joined by Alla Wolf-Tasker AM at her widely acclaimed gourmet retreat.

After lunch travel to historic Ballarat and the opportunity to spot some gold at Sovereign Hill or visit the Art Gallery - home of the Eureka Flag.  Before returning to Melbourne for the chartered flight to Sydney.

You, your family and friends can become part of this great day out and help Pathfinders raise much needed funds for the children at the Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children (RIDBC).

Hosted by Tara Moss, Author and RIDBC Ambassador, the Charity Flight offers an ideal excuse to get away and enjoy a beautiful part of Victoria in a fun-filled, unique day.  For many the flight is an annual event; their return each year speaks volumes to the fantastic experiences enjoyed by all.

Throughout Australia RIDBC provide vital support, quality innovative education and other services, to achieve the best outcomes for current and future generations of children with hearing and/or vision loss.  RIDBC relies heavily on fundraising and community support to maintain its educational and research programmes.

Pathfinders, founded in 1967, are a group within Qantas who have raised over $6.1 million solely for the RIDBC.  Further information at www.qantas-pathfinders.com.au
