Luxury travel company Abercrombie & Kent (A&K) is delighted to announce that the company has been voted Australasia's Leading Tour Operator for the fourth consecutive year at the recent World Travel Awards (WTA) gala dinner in Singapore. This is in addition to the earlier award made by WTA of Africa's Leading Luxury Tour Operator.

Established in 1993, WTA serves to acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all sectors of the global travel and tourism industry. It is “the Travel Industry’s equivalent to the Oscars”, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The World Travel Awards is without doubt, the most prestigious and comprehensive awards held specifically for the global travel industry. They were established in 1993 to acknowledge and celebrate excellence in the industry. Hundreds of thousands of votes are cast by travel professionals and consumers in over 170 countries across the globe for what they consider to be the very best tourism, travel and hospitality products and services in their region.  

Officials consider this the highest commendation in the industry serving as a testament to A&K’s hard work and commitment to excellence over the last 12 months.
