Club Med opened the first in store agency in Australia’s popular suburb of Bondi in partnership with the newly renovated and long standing Sabra Travel.

“Our relationship is a 25 year love affair”. Sabra Travel, director Barbara Gross said.

“I was sent to Club Med Noumea and came back convincing people to stay at a Club Med Resort. People come in wanting to go Skiing in New Zealand and they walk out with a Club Med package to the Maldives”.

Sabra Travel have been for many years one of the top selling Club Med agencies and are proud to have 4 dedicated staff who have been on training for a week solely dedicated to Club Med.

“This is the first one in Australia and is just the beginning. It is nice to give back to the Travel Agent partners who have supported us throughout the year. Bringing it back to them and creating visibility for the agency”. Club Med, NSW BDM Adam Ferraro said.

One of the major benefits for the agency is higher revenue for each transaction.

The cost for the renovations was not revealed however the entire project took just over 6 months from design to staff training and construction with Sabra Travel.

“The boutique concept actually came from Overseas. Now Brazil, Italy and Canada have this concept and we saw the success. Sabra Travel was the easy choice as their commitment with our brand is strong and as they were looking at renovating at the same time, it was a great venture for the both of us”. Club Med, national sales manager Marc Letourneau said.

Club Med are looking to have an in store presence in one exclusive agency in each state across Australia. There has already been a great expression of interest.
