A TSA screener was arrested earlier this month after he was caught stealing iPads and laptops from checked baggage. The 32-year-old airport worker based at JFK was caught leaving the airport after his shift with two Port Authority GPS-equipped iPads and a 17-inch MacBook Pro, the New York Post reported. According to law police, an Apple laptop was also found in the man’s home. The TSA worker was caught as part of an undercover assignment into increasing theft from checked luggage. |
