Funnel Web sends Jamberoo visitors twisting and turning down a 270 meter water slide in 35 seconds.

This summer is set to be Jamberoo Action Park’s “best summer ever”, with the launch of the longest and biggest water ride of its kind in the world - Funnel Web.

Unveiled last week as part of Stage One of the Kangaroo Island expansion, the new ride will send visitors twisting and turning at 30 kilometres per hour down the 270 meter water slide before being sucked into the Funnel Web’s burrow and then spat out and saturated at the end.

Also as part of the AU$11.6 million expansion, the water and theme park launched Banjo’s Billabong, a section packed with water slides, water cannons, bridge climbs and spray features including a bucket that tips 1,200 litres of water down on guests every 10 minutes.

Jamberoo Action Park executive director Dax Eddy said the new rides will “wow” all guests.

“We can’t wait for this to be one of the best Summers ever,” he said.

New rides join other favourites including; Taipan, Outback Bay, Billabong Beach and Bobsled.
