Melbourne Airport has welcomed the opening of WH Smith’s first Australian Zoodle store. Dedicated to children and located in Melbourne Airport’s international departures area, the store is also the first Zoodle store to open at an airport globally. Melbourne Airport’s General Manager Retail, Gilly Gray, said that the new store was a great addition to the shopping mix in the international departures area. “WH Smith has combined its extensive airport experience and success and turned it into a fantastic new children’s store, Zoodle. We are thrilled that WH Smith has selected Melbourne Airport as the first Australian location.” “Our recently redeveloped international departures area focuses on providing travellers with different dining options as well as stores that are interesting and relevant to travellers. Zoodle is the perfect addition to the Melbourne Airport international departures retail offerings.” WH Smith Travel Chief Operating Officer, SImon Smith said, "We are delighted to have opened our first Zoodle by WH Smith store in Melbourne Airport just before Christmas, and are very much looking forward to providing children and their families with everything they need before they fly."
