Royal Caribbean has confirmed that a third Oasis-class ship will be built by STX France, scheduled for delivery in mid-2016.

The contract is subject to financing with the shipyard also providing a one-year option for a fourth Oasis-class vessel ready for delivery in mid-2018 at similar pricing.

“These ships have consistently generated outstanding guest satisfaction ratings and continue to produce superior financial results,” Royal Caribbean chairman and CEO Richard D. Fain said.
