“We’re excited about the release of 2013 sailings aboard Queen of the Mississippi,” American Cruise Lines vice president Timothy Beebe said.

“We received a wonderful response to the 2012 inaugural season and look forward to further accommodating this demand with the 2013 schedule.”

Similar to the 2012 season, the ship will also include theme cruises including Civil War and Mark Twain as well some new additions to be announced later this year.

Entertainment on board the ship this year will also include music ranging from Jazz, Dixie Land and Blues while additionally cruises will host resident onboard river historians to “educate, entertain and captivate” cruisers.
