With less than a week to go, AFTA’s Marketing Manager, Melinda Brown is just over half way to reaching her fundraising goal of $1600 in the 2012 MS Walk. Around 21,000 Australians are affected by Multiple Sclerosis, the most common disease of the central nervous system. The average age of diagnosis is just 30 years of age and MS affects three times as many women as men. MS Australia provides assistance to Australians living with MS, along with their families and carers, to help them live a fulfilling life, despite the varying physical limitations that MS can bring. Melinda will be walking 9km on Sunday 3rd June to raise vital funds for MS Australia. Please consider sponsoring her to assist her in reaching her fundraising goal and help support Australians living with MS. Visit http://register.mswalk.org.au/2012-MS-Walk-and-Fun-Run-Sydney/melindabrown12 to sponsor Melinda. |
