Leisure Pass Group sets it sights on Italy

Thursday, 21 June 2012

The company behind the smartcard city sightseeing passes – London Pass, Berlin Pass and Paris Pass – has teamed up with Opera Romana Pellegrinaggi, an activity of the Vicariate of Rome, Department of the Holy See, to create the official new website for the OMNIA Vatican and Rome Card, making it easier for customers to find out more about the two capitals, what attractions are available and to ensure that they get the most out of their stay in the two Italian tourist hotspots.

The new website includes details of each attraction included in the OMNIA Vatican and Rome Card package, along with handy pass tips and details of popular sightseeing itineraries. Leisure Pass Group will be acting as a new sales agent for the smartcard product.

Leisure Pass Group product marketing director Amanda Truman explained:

“Leisure Pass Group was one of the first attraction companies to really embrace the web as a sales channel and it is been at the heart of our success. We overhauled the London and Paris Pass websites last year to improve the user experience and ensure that our customers find the whole process convenient and user friendly. The new OMNIA Vatican and Rome Card website was built with the same intention and allows customers to really get the most out of their stay in the two Italian cities. We are excited about selling the OMNIA Vatican and Rome Card and partnering with Opera Romana Pellegrinaggi to provide the official website for this excellent product.
