Following the completion of a yearlong survey, finalists for the Passenger Choice Awards have been announced in categories ranging from best in-flight entertainment to best ground experience. Members of the travelling public are encouraged to begin selections for next year’s competition, recognizing outstanding standards of service and quality across fourteen different categories. Air New Zealand was nominated in five of the fourteen categories this year. The Virgin Group; including Virgin Australia, Virgin Atlantic and Virgin America tallied a total of fifteen nominations throughout the 14 categories. Emirates and Kingfisher Airlines were both nominated five times each in different categories. Winners of the 2012 Passenger Choice Awards will be revealed on 17 September at a special ceremony in Long Beach, California. |
