Auckland Airport experienced an influx of China-based arrivals last month, with a 20.5 percent increase in visitors from the fastest growing travel market year-on-year. For the fifth consecutive month, the airport saw growth from the Chinese nation to up to 12,161 visitors, beating out Australian arrivals for the top spot in percentage growth, The Moodie Report reported. Japanese arrivals also performed well after a decline from last year’s quake, with a 39.7 percent rise year-on-year in July to up to 5,839 Japanese visitors. |
