Conlan to lead NT tourism

Northern Territory’s tourism industry has a new leader to “ensure it becomes a major pillar” for the economy after Member for Greatorex, Matt Conlan was appointed the Minister for Tourism.

Announced this week, Minister Conlan will be responsible for the region’s tourism as well as major event, arts and museums, sports and recreation, racing and parks and wildlife.

The new tourism head said he was “thrilled” to be given the responsibility.

“I will ensure Tourism once again becomes a major pillar of the Northern Territory economy.”
Mr Conlan said.
