APT has appointed Paul Yankson (pictured) to the new position of General Manager Sales Asia Pacific following a successful sales career, mostly in the airline leisure segment of the industry. He was previously Regional General Manager in the UK for Qantas Airways and a Director of Qantas Holidays UK during his time with Qantas Airways. Prior to that Mr Yankson worked for other airlines including American Airlines, British Airways, Air New Zealand and Ansett Australia. Mr Yankson has worked in a number of international locations during his career including Australia, Belgium, France, Germany and the UK. He has a bachelor degree in French from the Polytechnic of North London and an MBA from the University of Liverpool. He is fluent in English, French and German. APT CEO, Chris Hall said Mr Yankson brings extensive sales and distribution experience in the international travel arena which will contribute to APT’s strategic focus in expanding distribution channels and achieving sales growth. |
