The luxury and experiential travel showcase continued into its second day yesterday, with buyers and sellers creating new and investing contacts.
Held at the Overseas Passenger Terminal in Sydney, the three day sold out exhibition, ending 12 September this year, attracted up to 300 international and local buyers as well as 100 global sellers.
Exhibiting at this year’s conference, Orana Events director Simone Liu said Luxperience was much needed in the luxury and experimental sector.
“Some of the feedback I’ve been getting from international buyers is that they didn’t know Australia has a luxury market,” she explained.
“But with Luxperience they are able to see a snap shot of what we have to offer.
“This is a great platform to launch that off.”
Meanwhile, Luxperience attendee and Personal TravelManager Michelle Michael-Pecora added that she “loved every moment” of the exhibition, picking up a few extra ideas and tips to take home to her clients.
“[It is] such an elegant way to be at an Expo with the one on one workshops and lovely events in between,” Ms Michael-Pecora said.
“It has cemented for me that I really want to concentrate on the luxury market with my personal touch.
“I will definitely be interested in attending again after such an amazing first time experience.”
