Luxperience – Day 3

Thursday, 13 September 2012

The inaugural Luxperience closed on a high yesterday, with more than 300 buyers and 100 exhibitors saying farewell following three days of conversing, connecting and sharing.

The three-day event held from 10-12 September saw buyers and sellers from across the globe gather at Sydney’s Overseas Passenger Terminal where they discussed luxury and experiential travel.

Taking some time out to address attendees, Luxperience chief executive Rosemarie Sama said she was “confident” the event had been a “great success” and was looking forward to bringing the exhibition back to Sydney next year.

“Luxperience 2013 will be held in Sydney again, in the same venue, we don’t think Sydney gets much better than here,” Ms Sama said.

Ms Sama added next year buyers can expect to see a wider range of “unique” venues and experimental operators in a whole new and “different” exhibition setting.

According to the CEO, Luxperience will move away from the traditional booths and allow buyers to showcase their products in a business class airport lounge-type setting.
