Freda’s restaurant in Chippendale was the location for the ‘Taste of Washington, DC’ event hosted by Destination DC and Gate 7 in Sydney.

Media and agents were treated to culinary delights such as pickled octopus, mussels, white sardines and a variety of delectable dips and deliciously deviant drinks.

The venue was selected because of its similarities to many of DC’s own alternative-style bars and restaurants.

Washington DC is home to 620,000 Americans and conveniently located three and a half hours south of New York City.
