Taiwan Tourism educated guests during their Workshop in Sydney with a lively energetic presentation, sharing their passion for the destination with over 170 industry guests.
The evening included a three course dinner at the Hilton Hotel in Sydney, with entertainment from the Chai Found Music Workshop, captivating the audience as they played contemporary music on traditional Taiwanese instruments.
The uplifting music kept the rhythm of the night alive while guest speakers educated attendees on their products and the reasons why Taiwan is the Heart of Asia.
“It is my great pleasure to welcome you... the speakers are energetic and passionate about their destination,” Taiwan delegation leader Jene Chan said.
Throughout the evening, speakers reiterated the safety of Taiwan along with the amazing shopping areas, beaches and extraordinary history.
“Get people to experience Taiwan themselves” TTB Singapore Branch Taiwan Visitors Association director Arthur Hsieh said.
“The relationship between Australia and Taiwan is strengthening with a growth of 8.49 percent in visitors in the first half of the year,” Taiwan Tourism Bureau marketing representative Australia & New Zealand Pearl Lee said.
To put things into perspective, Tasmania is twice the size of Taiwan; yet with over 23 million residents, less than 100,000 of those visit Australia each year.
9.1 million Taiwanese explore the world and with the relationship strengthening in both countries, there is plenty of room for improvement to expand in both markets.
Taiwan’s Facebook page will be launched in Australia in the near future.
