Thai travellers are seeking holidays to the US according to results supplied by TripAdvisor on the top destinations researched.

Japan, China and Singapore were close behind, with the ASEAN countries showing Thai Travellers’ preference to visit countries with shorter flight times and with no visa requirements.

Other long-haul destinations making the top ten include the UK, Italy and France.

TripAdvisor revealed searches for domestic travel favoured beachside destinations such as Pattaya, Hua Hin, Phuket, Krabi, Cha-am and Koh Samui.

The full list of most viewed international countries by Thai travellers in order are US, Japan, China, Singapore, UK, Malaysia, Indonesia, Italy, France and Laos.

The top ten most viewed domestic destinations by Thai travellers are Bangkok, Pattaya in Chonburi, Chiang Mai, Hua Hin in Prachuab Khiri Khan, Patong in Phuket, Krabi, Chaweng in Koh Samui, Bophut in Koh Samui, Cha-am in Petchaburi and Ao Nang in Krabi.
