It was a royal event for the team at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, when Prince William and Kate Middleton stopped by the Centre during their recent visit to Malaysia. Attending the British Malaysian Chamber of Commerce (BMCC) luncheon held in their honour this month, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were greeted by some 1,200 members from the business fraternity, ministers and senior government. “We were absolutely delighted to welcome Their Royal Highnesses to the Centre and the staff and myself included, were ecstatic to catch a glimpse of the royals,” Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre general manager Datuk Peter Brokenshire said. “It was a privilege to serve them.” The Royal Couple were in Malaysia as part of a nine-day Asia-Pacific tour celebrating Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee. |
