A group of North Queensland tour operators are getting ‘China Ready’ by showcasing the wonders of Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef and ensuring agents in China are ‘Aussie Ready’.

Getting 'China Ready' in Shenyang this week is Karl V. Kuhle of Seawalker Green Island and a team of Cairns and Great Barrier Reef tour and attraction operators that includes GBR Helicopters, CAPTA Group, Rainforestation, Great Adventures, and Hot Air Ballooning.

Their 2 week promotional tour of China in the lead up to direct flights from Shanghai that begin landing in Cairns from October 31st takes in the cities of Shenyang, Dalian, Quingdao, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen. During this time they will train almost 2000 travel agency staff and senior trade managers from major travel agencies that serve a population of over 70 million potential Chinese tourists.
