The dreadlocked, millionaire housemate speaks with e-Travel Blackboard about why he moved to the Gold Coast and whether he and Angie are the newest item to come out of the “Big Brother” house.

e-Travel Blackboard: It looks like you have been having even more fun out of the house than inside!

George: It has been the best few weeks of my life!

e-Travel Blackboard: You seem to have truly absorbed the ‘out of house’ experience, did you actually miss anything about the house when you were evicted?

George: I missed not partying this hard because everyone that sees me at the moment is saying, “Look how skinny you are!”

I went to an agent recently and apparently my look is the fashion in the industry at the moment, the Mediterranean look.

They told me I need to put on ten kilos and muscle back on ASAP because that is the look that everyone is wanting for shows like “Spartacus” and “Game of Thrones”, things like that.

e-Travel Blackboard: So is acting the direction you’re looking at taking now?

George: Yes, I’m hoping to get into doing feature films like “Spartacus” or maybe hosting, like on MTV.

I had this lady hit me up from America from MTV, she reckons I’ve got the perfect look...the Channel V look.

I’m hoping to do something along those lines.

e-Travel Blackboard: So you’ve just been having fun, you haven’t been hitting the gym like we saw you do every day in the house?

George: I have not hit the gym once! It is so bad! My mum reckons I’m disgusting at the moment because I’m so skinny!

e-Travel Blackboard: Why did you decide to move to the Gold Coast instead of somewhere else in Australia?

George: I just love it here, since “Big Brother” I’ve been out here doing a bit of modelling and getting free clothes! It’s hard going out and getting free drinks every night!

It’s hard for me to go back to Perth where everything’s a lot more quiet.

e-Travel Blackboard: Do you feel like you were yourself in the house?

George: Well I’m a really forward person and I felt like when I was in the house I couldn’t be myself because I’d hurt someone’s feelings.

I’m used to paying out my friends but I couldn’t do that in there because it would lead to an argument and I hate arguments - then again I guess that’s what makes good TV!

e-Travel Blackboard: What’s been the most commonly asked question since you were evicted?

George: At the moment since I’ve been hanging around Angie, I’ve been getting hassled about whether we are together.

There is so much stuff going around about Angie and me at the moment!

e-Travel Blackboard: That is actually our reader question from @team_angie, “Have you and Angie gotten together since you’ve been spending so much time together?”

George: Definitely not, we’re pretty good mates so we’re making a joke of it.

I have a photo of her that I posted saying, “I love Angie” and I’m going to tweet another one saying, “Will you marry me” just to annoy her!

It’s fun to play with the rumours!

e-Travel Blackboard: You could start a rumour that you and Angie will have a double wedding with Sam and Layla!

A lot of questions have come through Twitter to ask you about how you feel about Layla and Sam, but people seem to forget that you were the one who dared him to kiss her first!

George: I know! I don’t know if it was clear on the show but I was the one who started it! Whenever anyone asks me now about Layla hooking up with Sam I say, “Yeah, it really hurt my feelings, I was really devastated”. I just play it up now!

I knew that Sam was Layla’s type of guy!

e-Travel Blackboard: Are you surprised that Sam and Layla’s relationship has continued outside of the house?

George: I am, I am, definitely. I can’t see them being together.

e-Travel Blackboard: You seemed pretty set on trying to get back together with your ex-girlfriend when you were in the house. What’s happening on that front since you’re in the Gold Coast now?

George: I caught up with her and everything was cool.

We’re still best mates, she’s happy for me and we still talk every week.

She had a boyfriend and then they broke up but I really want to stay single right now.

e-Travel Blackboard: What is your number one bucket list place to visit?

George: I’ve never been to Byron Bay so I’d love to get there.

I was meant to be buying Angie’s car actually! She had some work to do to it and then I was going to buy it off her when it was done.

She got all this work done to it and then the day she was driving it over to me she got in a car accident!

I can’t wait to get there because I love the beach life like how you can walk into a pub and grab a few beers, everyone’s nice and relaxed.

e-Travel Blackboard: What’s your favourite destination that you have visited that you would recommend to our readers.

George: I do kite surfing so I went to an island in the Philippines called Boracay. You can get a bottle of rum there for something like AUD$2.00, so I was just kite surfing and getting massages and the best food all day and partying at night because everything’s so cheap!
