Passengers aboard the largest cruise ships in the world, Allure of the Seas and Oasis of the Seas, have been given the chance to test out Royal Caribbean’s new beverage packages.
Joining sister-line Celebrity Cruises who began offering alcoholic beverage packages in 2010, the move, if implemented, will bring Royal into line with competitors including Norwegian and Carnival.

“We do not have final details on which ships would receive the packages at this time or what those packages would look like,” Royal Caribbean International account executive - brand communications Janet Diaz told e-Travel Blackboard.

USA Today reported that this is not the first time that the line has offered all-you-can-drink alcohol packages, with Royal Caribbean introducing beer, wine and alcohol packages aboard three ships based outside of the US last year.
