MCI in Australia has grown its management team with the addition of a new Managing Director, a Director of Association Relations (PCO), a Sponsorship and Development Manager and the appointment of an inaugural Board of Directors.

Management Team Growth

• Ray Shaw (former Managing Director MCI Australia) is now Chairman of the Board of Directors and Non-Executive Director. Ray will expand his strategic consulting portfolio inside and outside the meetings and events industry.
  
  
• Stephan Wurzinger (Director of Association Relations for Asia Pacific) is now also Managing Director of MCI Australia. His 14 years’ experience in the meetings and events industry include managing his own conference business in Dubai and two leading event companies in South Africa
  and Singapore. Stephan has driven association business development in Asia Pacific and Canada, working for three years with MCI at management level. Recently relocating from Singapore to Sydney, he will be based at MCI Australia’s Sydney office. The appointment of new regional Directors of Association Relations for Singapore, USA and Australia supports Stephan’s move.
  
  
• Rebecca Schepers is MCI’s newly appointed Director of Association Relations for Australia who will manage association relations within Australia. Her commercial orientation combined with her scientific background provides a unique insight into an important client sector.
  
  
• Jerome Buchanan joins MCI Australia as Sponsorship and Development Manager. Experienced in sales for global event and conference companies Informa and GDS International, Jerome will focus on sponsorship as a vital and expanding area of business.
