An ice cream that doesn’t melt? Snowy Mountains Cookies strikes again

Thursday, 20 December 2012

The earliest documented ice cream was found in China around 1000 BC, yet it took almost three thousand years for ice cream to be produced in Australia when the first commercial ice cream was produced in 1907.  Just over one hundred years later, the Jindabyne based Snowy Mountains Ice Cream Cone Cookie was created.

The team at Snowy Mountains Cookies have created every mother’s dream – an ice cream that doesn’t melt – an ice cream cone cookie!

Unlike their melting counterparts, ice cream cone cookies are made with no preservatives, no artificial colours or flavours, and using only the best quality ingredients, such as free range eggs – for a wholesome, natural and guilt-free cookie experience.

These ambrosial delights are baked in Jindabyne Australia at 1020 metres above sea level. As well as the unique ice cream cone cookie, the Snowy Mountains Cookie range also includes a range of other cookies, with gourmet chocolate, fresh nuts and real fruit flavours. There’s also a gluten-free range.

If you’re holidaying in Jindabyne, the Snowy Mountains Cookie factory is definitely a place to put on your map. Although there is no flowing chocolate river or fizzy lifting drink, there are plenty of scrumptious seconds on offer sometimes at half price.

Snowy Mountains Cookies have come a long way since 2006, now supplying nearly one tonne of cookies every day around Australia to clientele such as Qantas, Brindabella Airlines and Gloria Jeans right through to independent cafés.

Snowy Mountains Ice Cream Cone cookies are available online (free postage) or view the ‘Outlets’ page for a suitable location.
