Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific has recruited the Gold Coast based General Counsel, Julian Blanchard as its Senior Vice President to head up the company’s Legal and Compliance department.

Mr Blanchard started in his new role on Friday, 14 December and is working from the Wyndham Corporate Centre on the Gold Coast.

With more than 20 years working in the legal industry, Julian brings with him a wealth of experience, particularly from his most recent role as International General Counsel for Billabong International, also based on the Gold Coast.

He will be overseeing a team of 11 employees in the Legal and Compliance department, all based at the Wyndham Corporate Centre, which is responsible for ensuring that all areas of the business are complying with relevant legislation which governs their field.

Julian reports to the CEO and Managing Director of Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific, Barry Robinson on day-to-day matters. He also has a direct reporting line to the General Counsel and Executive Vice President of Legal at Wyndham Vacation Ownership, Greg Bendlin who is based at the company’s head office in the United States.
