Changi to house THE PLANET TRAVELLER

Building its travel appeal, Singapore’s Changi Airport has been selected to house one of the world’s largest lifestyle travel stores.

Covering over 33 meters Terminal Three near the Departure and the North Check-in Hall, THE PLANET TRAVELLER store is set to open in March this year and will offer the largest range of travel accessories in Asia at duty and tax free prices, The Moodie Reporter reported.

According to media, the store will sell over 4,000 travel products with brands ranging from Go Travel, Urban Buff, Travel Smart and PacSafe.

In addition the store will also feature a Repair Section, designed to assist traveller mend damaged luggage such as broken wheels and defective locks.

“With an excellent range of merchandise and creative visual display, THE PLANET TRAVELLER continues to offer the best travel brands to well-travelled and discerning customers,” THE PLANET TRAVELLER merchandising manager Ada Yuen explained.

Launching in a few month, the shop is expected to feature a black ceiling, blue flooring and navy furniture.
