Travellers Choice's Brisbane-based bag-pipe-blowing usiness Development Manager Queensland and Northern New South Wales Simon Lang celebrated 10 years with Australia's leading independent retail network this month.

After a long and distinguished career with P&O and then Ansett
Australia/Traveland, Simon joined Travellers Choice in 2002 when the group had just one agency in the Sunshine State.

Today more than 45 member shareholders call Queensland home, with the Travellers Choice network stretching from Maclean in NSW to the Cape York Peninsula..

Travellers Choice Chief Executive Christian Hunter says Simon's passion and commitment are the driving forces behind the group's growth in Queensland and northern New South Wales.

"Over the past 10 years Simon has offered exceptional support to our members and his enthusiasm and dedication have been vital to attracting new shareholders from across the region," says Hunter.

Simon says joining Travellers Choice is the best business decision he has ever made.

"I started in the travel industry in 1965 in Melbourne and in my 47 years I've only worked for three companies. As I always say, I kept the best until last," Simon says.
