Buyers and sellers gathered at the Tourism New Zealand Luxperience booth last night, closing the second day of meetings with a traditional Maori performance and some New Zealand wine.

Tourism New Zealand chief executive Kevin Bowler thanked the exhibition’s organisers for “bringing” Luxperience “to this part of the world” before introducing some members of the Kapa Haka Group to perform traditional Maori dances and songs.

“It’s a great event and I hope it has a great future,” Mr Bowler said.

Following the Tourism New Zealand hosted gathering, Luxperience guests headed down to ECQ in Circular Quay, Sydney where they were they enjoyed canapés and cocktails accompanied by a view of Sydney’s Harbour.
