Destination Queenstown, together with regional tourism operators, hosted their annual Australian Conference & Incentives Roadshow at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney.
The Roadshow brought its largest contingency of representatives from 32 Queenstown-based tourism operators to display their wares, products and services for the Australian market.
Destination Queenstown chief executive Graham Budd informed attendees what Queenstown can offer in the way of hotels, off-site dining venues, activities and conference and incentive group travel.
“There are so many opportunities for every type of traveller when you visit our town,” Mr Budd said.
Connectabus marketing manager Morgan McCammon said this was his first C&I Roadshow experience.
“It’s fantastic to come over and be able to showcase our range of services for such a popular market,” he told e-Travel Blackboard exclusively.
Organisations from Queenstown that made the journey across the Tasman include; Hotel St Moritz, Professional Touring Queenstown, Connectabus, Oaks Hotels & Resorts, Queenstown Rafting, Skyline and more.
Air New Zealand group sales development manager Lynn Simmonds was on hand to present two return tickets and seven night’s accommodation to one lucky winner.
In related news, Queenstown reported the largest guest nights increase in New Zealand for the month of July.
