Former Azamara Club Cruises, Celebrity Cruises and Royal Caribbean International vice president Rama Rebbapragada has been honoured at the Cruise Shipping Asia-Pacific at Marina Bay Cruise Centre this week.

Conference organizers, UBM, announced the development of the ‘Rama Rebbapragada Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Cruise Industry in Asia’ which will be presented for the first time at next year’s event.  

Making the announcement at the State of the Industry panel earlier this week, UBM Cruise Portfolio director Daniel Read commemorated Mr Rebbapragada who passed away recently.

Asia Cruise Association general manager Kevin Leong attributed Mr Rebbapragada as the driving force behind the creation of the Association.
