Win with Masterchef Live and e-Travel Blackboard

Two lucky e-Travel Blackboard readers will have the chance to watch their favourite “Masterchef” contestants and chefs in action at this year’s “Masterchef Live” in Sydney.

To be in the running to win a double general admission pass to “Masterchef Live” at the Hordern Pavilion and Royal Hall of Industries between 5-7 October 2012, email your name, company and phone number to: along with the name of your favourite Masterchef contestant before 9am 1 October 2012.*

With over 200 LIVE theatre demonstrations, 10 hands-on cooking schools, thousands of interactive cooking classes, an elite line-up of Sydney’s hottest new Food Trucks, over 120 exhibitors sourced Australia wide and hosted by over 25 of Australia’s top chefs, MasterChef LIVE is set to turn Moore Park into a festival of food this October.

Contestants from all series including this year’s winner, Andy Allen and runner up, Julia Taylor, along with Ben Milbourne, Audra Morrice, Amina Elshafei, Kylie Millar, Kevin Perry, Alvin Quah, Hayden Quinn and Dani Venn, will be adding to the superstar line-up, demonstrating interactive hands-on cooking classes, cooking shows and MasterClasses over the three days.

The celebrity chef line-up will include MasterChef’s very own, George Calombaris, MasterChef and Aria’s Matt Moran, culinary icon Maggie Beer, Darren Robertson of Three Blue Ducks, Vincent Gadan of Patisse, Australia’s gluten free queen Rowie Dillon, Darren Purchese of Melbourne’s Burch and Purchese, Four In Hand’s Colin Fassnidge, the infamous patissier Adriano Zumbo, Dan Hong from Merivale, Mitchell Orr of Duke’s Bistro, Sake’s Shaun Presland and Miguel Maestre from The Living Room, Network 10.

The three day culinary event will showcase an impressive array of delectable pop up restaurants, including Three Blue Ducks and MissChu. The Mystery Box Theatre will host up to five live shows each day, in front of a live audience of 600 plus, as well as the Invention Test Theatre which will consist of over eight live ‘celebrity chef’ demonstrations each day and an assortment of thrilling contestant challenges and ‘cook offs.’

Other interactive areas where visitors can roll up their sleeves and learn new skills include:

· Baking Sweets and Treats “How To” sessions
· Australian Pears interactive cooking school
· Junior MasterChef cooking classes
· The Laucke Flour Artisan Bakery hands–on cooking school
· Casa Barilla authentic Italian cooking classes
· Australian Wine Selector wine appreciation classes

All attractions will present fun and engaging cooking tips and tricks providing visitors with the opportunity to enhance their culinary skills and taste buds.

Over 120 exhibitors from across Australia will showcase a broad selection of extraordinary produce at MasterChef LIVE. The food lover’s one stop shop will include Adriano Zumbo Patissier, Alpine Tea Company, Blue Berrylicious, The Cake Pop Queen, Fleur De Lys, La Bastide, Lomondo Oil, The Red Spoon Company, Maggie Beer Products, My Organics, Nudie Foods, Robyn Rowe Chocolates, Salt Caves and many more.

MasterChef LIVE will take place at Hordern Pavilion and Royal Hall of Industries from Friday 5 – Sunday 7 October 2012.

*Entries close 9am AEST Monday 1 October 2012 with the winner drawn at 11am Monday 1 October 2012.
The judge’s decision is final.
Winners will be notified via email and must be able to attend the event in Sydney between 5-7 October 2012. Tickets are non-transferrable.

Tickets will be sent via Australia Post to the winner on 1 October 2012.
Accommodation and transport to the venue is the winner’s responsibility.
The prize consists of a double general admission pass to any one day of the event between 5-7 October 2012.
