The Holiday Centre, part of innovative Australian travel company Ignite Travel Group, has been awarded top honours in the 2012 BRW Fast 100 list polling in position 21, the highest for a travel based company in this year’s esteemed awards.
Incorporating My Holiday Centre and its portfolio of seven ‘My’ brands, Group Buying Escapes and more recently, Grab A Getaway, The Holiday Centre, part of Ignite Travel Group has been responsible for collectively sending over 100,000 travellers on holiday both in Australia and overseas in the past 12 months.
Managing Director of Ignite Travel Group Randall Deer is thrilled with the award, and attributes his company’s success to his dedicated team and their group philosophy to challenge convention by developing innovative marketing solutions for quality travel brands and tourism partners alike on a global platform.
“Our business continues to grow significantly from where we started as a patented travel-based rewards and promotions business into a multi-awarded, multi-channeled travel marketing corporation, so to receive an award that recognises this progress is extremely rewarding,” Deer said.
The Holiday Centre hit the BRW radar in 2011, polling in the Fast Starters awards. Deer has also been personally awarded as a leading, young entrepreneur.
Consumers have also recognised the Gold Coast based company as a travel industry leader responding with increased visitation to destinations The Holiday Centre champions.
“Through the promotion of key international and domestic travel destinations including Bali, Fiji, Thailand, Queensland, Hawaii, Malaysia and the USA along with a focus on offering exceptional holiday experiences including flights, accommodation and host of quality bonus extras, our consumer reach is also growing in demand,” he said.
The BRW Fast 100 list ranks Australia’s fastest growing, public and private, small and medium businesses. The quality of the 2012 BRW Fast 100 was as high as ever, as businesses and entrepreneurs from all of Australia’s major vertical industries presented the solid business practices required to deliver growth in a downturn.
