Indonesia targets Jordan for tourism

Indonesia says it is keen on building visitor numbers travelling in from Jordan after arrivals from the Middle Eastern country fell below expectations this year.

Republic of Indonesian in Amman chargé d'affaires of the embassy Arief Hidayat said the country’s ministry of tourism and economy will increase its efforts in attracting Jordanians, particularly businessmen, Zawya reported.

According to the embassy head, the number of visitors from Jordan did not exceed 1,000 this year.
