Crown Metropol Melbourne was named “Best Upper Upscale Property” at the prestigious annual HM Awards.

In addition, the hotel was presented with a highly commended honour in the “Best Tech Hotel” category and the hotel’s day spa, ISIKA, was named highly commended in the awards’ “Best Day Spa” category.

The 2012 HM Awards were hosted by HM magazine, presented by Sealy, and co-hosted by AHS, the Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School, Intrust Super and ISIS.

In addition to the HM Awards, Crown Metropol Melbourne’s restaurant, Mr Hive Kitchen & Bar, was recently included in the 2013 edition of The Age Good Food Guide. These accolades join a portfolio of awards, including Crown Metropol Melbourne being named Best Luxury Hotel in Victoria in the revered 2011 RACV Victorian Tourism Awards and recognition by Conde Nast Traveler’s 2011 Hot 100 and Australian Gourmet Traveller’s 2011Travel Awards.
