Global Gourmet Offerings in the Heart of Samoa

Samoa will be hosting an international food festival on 22 September at the lawns of Insel Fehmarn Hotel.
Renowned for stability in the region, Samoa’s Treasured Islands are home to many ethnic groups drawn to the nation’s easy island life and strong 3,000 year old tradition called Fa’a Samoa – The Samoan Way.
Featuring gourmet offerings from Asia, Europe, East India and the rest of the Pacific region the one-day event is set to draw patrons from around the nation to indulge in this celebration of cuisine.
“Many people will be surprised to know that we have a diverse group of ethnic communities in Samoa,” says Peter Sereno of Samoa Tourism Authority.
“Those who have come to our shores have stayed, choosing the Samoan lifestyle which in mostparts of the world is considered idyllic. The diversity in our cuisine reflects this, united by the Samoan Way of celebrating food in a social, generous and all-inclusive fashion,” says Peter.
The Insel Fehmarn Food and Wine Fair will be held on 22 September 2012 at the Insel Fehmarn Lawns.
The event will run from 10AM – 10PM.
