The Fairmont Resort MGallery in the Blue Mountains will be a hive of activity for the Leura Garden Festival, with a programme of events on 3-4 October including gardening and horticultural experts, keynote speakers and demonstrations on how to turn your own garden into a work of art. To celebrate the festival, the Fairmont is offering a special package that includes accommodation, breakfast and entry to its “Under the Marquee” events from just $240 per night.

Over two days during the Festival (which runs from 29 September to 7 October), the Fairmont will feature the likes of Judy Horton, Australian Gardening Author; local landscaper Barry Jarrott; Clinton Nesci on the art of Bonsai; Bill Grattan who will talk about camellias; Doug and Glynis Hayne who will share their knowledge on growing the best roses; and Professor David Mabberley, Executive Director of the Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust.

While attending the events, guests can enjoy special Devonshire teas in the Sublime Lounge.
The Leura Garden Festival is one of the region’s most exciting events and sees 10 gorgeous private gardens open to the public, as well as the large National Trust property ‘Everglades’ with guests having the chance to meet the owners of each garden and discuss the inspiration for their plantings. For the first time in its 48-year history, the festival will this year present an exciting events programme, the centrepiece of which is “Under the Marquee at the Fairmont” as well as Music in the Garden, Art in the Garden and the Leura Family Twilight Ramble.

Entry is $20 for adults to enter all gardens or $5 per garden, with children free when attending with their parents.

The newly renovated Fairmont Resort MGallery boasts its own spectacular gardens, with 10 hectares of grounds dotted with lakes, walking tracks and rose gardens. Adjoining the Leura Golf Course, the hotel offers an extensive range of leisure facilities including indoor and outdoor pools, a lounge bar, tennis and squash courts, gym, indoor theatre and spa treatment facilities. Guests have one of Australia’s most dramatic natural wonders on their doorstep, with a range of activities including biking, canyoning, abseiling and bushwalking, making it perfect for lovers of nature.
